"Black Donald" McKrae is the head of Clan McKrae and uncle to Beremon and Morgwen. He has been the head of Clan McKrae for over two hundred years. Local supersition holds that he sold his soul to a devil for immortality.
Very little is known of Donald McKrae, and very few people claim to have ever seen him. What is known of his wishes, the ultimate will of Clan McKrae, are passed through the land by his niece and nephew.
