| Arandir |
|
Arandir was the name of the lands which are now called Lochlainn. The land was founded in 1453 AA by elven expatriates who had become disgusted with the policies of King Aradhrath and the Garanlyon. These elves believed that humans and elves could co exist; that it was the duty of the elder races to guide the younger freely and without oppression or subtle tricks.
Because of the guidance of the elves in the early days the humans of Lochlainn do not share in the superstitions against magic that their cousins in Artaios posess. Their culture has a reverence for the natural world and is, in fact, subtly elven in many ways. |
