Ansgar Dougal was the champion of the peoples of Lochlainn, uniting the warring clans beneath his rule and forging a lasting peace. Untill the cataclysim of 2986 AA his family, Clan Dougal, had a place amongst the poltics of Lochlainn as well respected diplomats.
Ansgar was aided in his quest by Alastrina, an elf maiden who would become his friend and lover.
It is said that in the time of Lochlainn's greatest need a hero will emerge bearing the blade of lord Dougal and will save the land from peril. In 3026 AA the hero known as Arilyn claimed the blade and became the champion of Lochlainn, her spirit as one its the lands and people (A Half-Elf Without A Country). |
