Brought into awareness in the waning days of the Atman Empire, Protoss was the first Warforged, a prototype designed for military use. His creator, in a change of heart, sent Protoss away with his grand daughter, Cidra, to hide from those whom he know would be after his finest creation. What began as a project of military conquest under the direction of General Garivus became something more: a machine with a soul.
Thousands of years later Primus would discover the original plans used in the creation of Protoss and put them to use in creating a new race of beings: the Warforged. |
