As I am writing this Varian seems intent on speaking with the wall. He is a strange fellow, apparently from another realm. I think he’s a little too strange, though I admire his courage, as he has shown no fear in the challenges we have faced.
He has a strange look in his eyes, as if he were used to seeing the world in a completely different way. I’m not sure why he’s talking to the wall, though it’s not the first time I’ve seen him speaking with inanimate objects. Maybe being from a different world he’s used to them being able to talk back. I wonder if they do talk back to him now. I don’t hear anything, but he sounds like he’s responding to something. Could it be possible that he is so intoned with magic that he is able to communicate with anything in nature. I’d be interested to know what that wall is saying to him. |
