Angigh was about to become the dinner of several trolls when the young neonate druid Arnulf happend along. By sheer bumbling luck, Arnie managed to save Angigh (and enrage the trolls in the process). Angigh was impressed by Arnies cunning (which was more like bumbling, but Angigh only saw him as a hero and valiant warrior!) and has followed him ever since. He is Arnulf's true friend, companion, and student.
